The Program
This program equips young women in rural areas throughout sub-Saharan Africa with access to finance and entrepreneurial support, in collaboration with local Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs).
The Role
The Program Manager will lead the operations of a $20M Fund across Nigeria, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Ghana, with a more specific focus on Nigeria. This role is responsible for coordinating implementation teams, loan officers, Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs), and key stakeholders to ensure timely loan disbursement, impact tracking, and program compliance meeting funder requirements and operational guidelines.
The Program Manager will support the Program Director in managing fund performance, enabling adaptive delivery, and optimizing collaboration across all countries. They will facilitate cross-country learning and ensure alignment on implementation standards.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the Program Manager will play a key role in coordinating with the Product & Tech teams to ensure that programmatic insights inform platform development, usability, and deployment—bridging field realities with product improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily fund operations in Nigeria and coordinate with counterparts in Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Ghana.
- Ensure close coordination with loan officers, ESOs, and delivery partners to streamline disbursement and support services.
- Monitor fund performance, disbursement progress, and impact tracking.
- Support adaptive management, flag risks early, and drive continuous improvement.
Product Feedback & Field Insights
- Act as the primary bridge between field operations and the Product team, channeling feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Collaborate with the Product team to test new features, support pilot rollouts, and ensure product readiness.
- Contribute to user journey mapping and platform enhancements, particularly for ESO and loan officer-facing tools.
- Support data quality and usability from the field to enhance automated reporting and analytics functions.
Partnerships & Stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners to foster collaboration and support the program's objectives.
- Serve as a point of contact with project funders and manage partner relationships.
- Identify and assess potential partners and stakeholders, including government entities, NGOs, ecosystem enablers, and private sector organisations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between partnership activities and program milestones.
