The Program

This program equips young women in rural areas throughout sub-Saharan Africa with access to finance and entrepreneurial support, in collaboration with local Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs).

The Role

Seedstars is hiring Collection Specialists to support loan repayment and portfolio quality for entrepreneurs financed under the P2S program. This is a central collection role — not door-to-door recovery. Loan Collectors combine phone-based follow-up with targeted field verification, working closely with Loan Officers, coaches, and Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) to keep repayments on track and validate the information that drives the loan collection process.

Collection Specialists report to the country Loan and Portfolio Lead and work day-to-day with Loan Officers, Coaches, and ESOs.

Contract duration aligned with the P2S program.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Repayment Follow-up

• Conduct high-volume phone call follow-ups with borrowers based on loan due dates, following digital messaging (SMS/WhatsApp) touchpoints.
• Work with ESOs and coaches to drive timely repayments across their cohorts.
• Support repayment monitoring for direct borrowers (non-ESO entrepreneurs), including bank account linkage and direct debit mandate follow-up.
